Container unloading crews — on call, but organised
Containers arrive in waves, and manual unloading is work where a random crew means a blocked dock. We deliver organised unloading groups with a crew leader and settlement matched to volume.
Veln organises unloading crews for sea containers, trailers and palletised or loose deliveries: a stable working group with a crew leader, prepared to work in delivery waves. We are a certified employment agency (KRAZ 32854); we match the settlement to the operation — hourly or by volume (number of containers, tonnage) — with attendance confirmed before every operation.
Manual unloading looks like the simplest job in logistics, but it has its realities: tonnage and a pace that someone answering an “immediate start” ad will not withstand, safety rules for working inside a container, and a schedule driven by deliveries rather than by a roster. So we build stable unloading groups — the people know the site, the working standard and each other — and we scale for peaks from a pool of people who have already been through our projects.
For companies
Need people for unloading operations?
- A stable crew with a crew leader instead of random people gathered on the day of the unload.
- Settlement matched to the operation: hourly or by volume (containers, tonnage).
- A schedule built around delivery waves — the earlier we know the plan, the more stable the staffing.
- Attendance confirmed before the operation plus a pool of replacements — the dock does not stand idle because someone failed to show.

What we have in the Container unloading area
We are not running an open recruitment here at the moment and we say so plainly. We enter a new area with a pilot — we build local recruitment from scratch, with the same process and the same people as in the neighbouring projects.

Frequently asked questions
How quickly can you put together a container unloading crew?
It depends on the location and the volume — after a conversation we give a specific date and hold ourselves to it. What works best is an ongoing cooperation: the crew knows the site and we plan the delivery waves together with your schedule, instead of operating in panic mode on the day of the notification.
How do you settle the work of unloading crews?
Two models: hourly (predictable with a steady volume) or by result — the number of containers unloaded or the tonnage. We match the model to the operation and say plainly which will be cheaper for you given your delivery profile.
What about health and safety in manual unloading?
The rules for working inside a container (temperature, ventilation, lifting limits, breaks) are agreed before the start and the crew leader enforces them during the work. The crews are staffed with people prepared for the real tonnage — we describe the nature of the work honestly during recruitment, so nobody drops out after the first hour.
Deliveries arrive irregularly — how do you keep the crew ready?
The core group has a planned minimum of work, and peaks are covered by a scaling pool of people who know the site. The earlier we receive the delivery notifications, the better we plan — but we also have a fast-entry mode for regular clients.
Where do you organise unloading crews?
In Dolny Śląsk and Mazowsze, and on a project basis also in Trójmiasto and other port and logistics locations — once we have mapped the local workforce.

Location
Trójmiasto
Gdańsk and Gdynia mean port logistics: containers, trans-shipment, warehouses next to the terminals. Projects in Pomorze we launch in a project model — with local recruitment and full team management.

Warehousing and logistics
Warehouses are our main specialisation: order picking, packing, forklift operators, unloading and stocktaking. We deliver people who know the pace of the work — and we run them after the start.
Location
Wrocław
We recruit and run blue-collar teams for warehouses, e-commerce centres and production plants in Wrocław. We know the local pay market and the realities of commuting — including night and weekend shifts.
Location
Warszawa
We staff warehouses and distribution centres in the western part of the Warszawa metropolitan area — where what counts is the candidate’s real commute, not the word “Warszawa” in the job ad.
Let us talk about staffing for unloading operations
Describe the operation, the shift hours and the scale — we will come back with a specific start plan and a realistic date we hold ourselves to. We usually begin a cooperation with a pilot.
