Offer details

We are looking for women and men to work at a food production plant in Żory. Manual work on the line: placing jars, screwing on lids, labelling, packing and palletizing. No experience is required — we train you on a running line with a trainer who speaks Polish, Ukrainian or English. We are looking for people for the long term.

What the job involves

You work on the production line: you place jars, screw on lids, apply labels, pack finished products into cartons and stack them on pallets. It is standing work, in a clean food environment — in work clothing and a hairnet. Accuracy and a steady pace matter, not strength.

Working hours and days

You work two shifts of 12 hours: day 06:00–18:00 and night 18:00–06:00. Shifts rotate every week — one week days, one week nights. Weekends are optional: on Saturday or Sunday you can take an extra 8-hour shift 06:00–14:00.

Onboarding

On your first day there is health and safety training, then you go straight to work on the line next to experienced people. For the first month you wear a yellow hairnet — everyone knows you are still learning, and the trainer helps you reach full speed. Trainers speak Polish, Ukrainian and English.

Pay

  • 31,40 zł gross for every hour worked
  • Civil contract (umowa zlecenie) with Veln, on-time payments
  • On a full 12-hour schedule this is about 180 hours a month, and more with extra weekend shifts

Start

The first group of 10–20 people starts in November. We are recruiting now — we confirm the exact start date during your interview with the recruiter.

Commuting and accommodation

The plant is located at a free municipal public transport stop in Żory — you can get there from the city for free. If you live outside Żory (e.g. from Rybnik, Jastrzębie, Katowice or Gliwice), you commute at your own expense; we are also checking the option of organized transport. For people coming from far away we help with accommodation in Żory — you arrange the details with the recruiter.

What you need

  • Aged 18 or over
  • Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including at night
  • Accuracy and a steady work pace
  • A sanitary-epidemiological certificate (formerly the sanepid health book) — if you don't have one, we will help you get it
  • No experience required
  • Knowledge of Polish is not a requirement — trainers speak Ukrainian and English

What we provide

  • Work clothing and footwear from the plant
  • Health and safety training and on-the-line onboarding with a trainer
  • Help with accommodation in Żory
  • On-time payments and regular contact with the Veln coordinator
